Season Finale

The final GP of the season took place at Sywell near Northampton. This is the traditional end venue and it offers excellent facilities including a lot of space to accommodate the prize ceremony and the end of season raffle.
Sywell is famed for its wind and today would offer a severe test. The course consists of a three sections. The first is open grassland and although the wind was strong it was, to a degree, consistent. Next was a garden area, here the wind was switching and swirling and flags, indicating wind direction, showed it was going left and right at the same time! The third section was "the bank of death", here targets were placed at varying heights and the wind was blowing a hooley. The strong wind gusted up the slope of the bank and lifted pellets well above the killzone.
Of the five competitions the winner of B grade and SFT had already been determined. The C and A grade winners were still uncertain and the big one could still be won by a number of shooters.
The last 2 seasons had seen the Sywell GP won with scores of 43 and 42. Today's conditions suggested that a score close to 40 would probably win the day.
Here's Andy Gillott negotiating the bank; he posted an impressive 36 to further his challenge for the overall title.Roger shows off his kneeling technique.
Big Neil bags a pair on his way to 36 to tie for third on the day and 6th overall.
The morning session was topped by Andy Calpin who scored an impressive 38 to lead by 2. It looked like this score would not be troubled by the afternoon shooters as the wind seemed to increasing in ferocity. Dorian Falconer came close with a 37 but the day was to belong to Mr Calpin.
So to the award of trophies and the end of season mega raffle with lots of prizes on offer; many thanks to Napier for the sponsorship of the GP series.
Kate Green won a shoot off to claim her first piece of FT glassware; third in C grade. In her excitement Kate unfortunately dropped her newly won brandy glass. As soon as Mr Calpin received his then he offered it to Kate, what a gent!
Paul Schofield won A grade with an excellent 35 which was 1 more than Dave!
After the day's trophies were awarded it was on to the overall placements for the season.
Congratulation to Brian Samson who dominated the SFT class.
Piston class was a two way contest between Nick Murphy and Marc Fisher, both had won four of the previous eight rounds. Nick triumphed today and added the Piston title to the British Championship he won in April.
Ian Harford had started the season with 3 rounds of SFT before constructing six strong rounds to comfortably win C grade. Second place went to Roy Boliver, well done Arby!
Simon Higgins came top in B grade after an impressive first GP season. Tenth place belonged to Baltipal!
Midway through the presentation we were treated to some overhead aerobatics which temporarily took everyone's attention.
Ian Stoddart had a brilliant season and won A grade at a canter, Ian c'mon!
Karl Clarke finished 6th in A grade in his first GP season for many a year. And to the top man. British FT Champion Andrew Gillott.
It's been a great season and I daren't add up the miles that we have travelled. The grounds, the courses and the weather have all been variable but one thing has remained constant - we all had a great time.
So goodbye for a while, it's time for a blogging recess. Follow the adventures of the MFTA WL starting in October.

But still, with no other shoots available.........

Jon said...

I would rather stop at home and watch telly = more enjoyment.

Willbe said...

Sometimes the less good option is better than the not at all option, plus fun sometimes to take the 77 or the old 100 series and not worry if it hits em or not.

Jon said...

That shoot you are on about, i can see it from the mother in laws.

Ian C,mon said...

mans got attitude

Baltipal said...

She hasn't got long red hair & horns has she?

I want to get a TX200 next year, slap a X10 on it & keep it in the back of the car when I go shooting so I can have a bit of 'no pressure plinking' without the performance anxiety. I quite enjoyed shooting that lads Norica B/B on Saturday, took the edge right off my frustration with the Nikko.

Jon said...

Next time you go to FC via Penkridge, Brocton, etc. Down Tedesley rd, past motherin laws, past Browns (dont ask) under motorway, canal on right up to where you cross over it was Acton FTC later used by Millride from 1998.

Baltipal said...

I see the sign for Acton Trussle on the way to FC. BTW that pub just off the M/way is bloody awful!!!!!

Jon said...

I have a heavily modded TX mark 1 from 1994- Three months later Venom came out with Ultraglide. Its in bits, well i took it apart to make the rear end assy to fit in a HW90 in Washington DC US about 8 years or more ago. Sort of a get together different people doing different things.

Jon said...

The one by the cut?

Ian C,mon said...

is there any where to go shooting tomorrow lads

Jon said...

I know, the left turn to Acton Trussel leads you out by the Argos Stafford. Gone too far by then anyway, there is a lay bye on right before sign for Moat House, that was the entrance after the lock. So from there down to almost the pub was Millrides second ground.

Jon said...

Cmon BRING IT ON

Willbe said...

1st serious rifle i had was a tx200 mk1 should never have got rid of it. Know where it went so may ask him if he's still got it.

Greg yes do it, or something like a hw77 or 97, something you can just shoot without worrying. Used to go to Penkridge with a few lads from Stoke and the only pressure was that between mates, and was fun.

Baltipal said...

Just off the island. You go one way for Penkridge FTC & the other for FC, terrible place, we went in & I asked the barmaid if they had any real beer on tap, she said they hadn't only this stuff & pointed at the cream flow bollox. Some wacky warehouse come eatery, a nasty surprise over that part of the World, I thought most pubs were OK!

Baltipal said...

I might even get it in .22 flavour!

Jon said...

Used to know all 7 in Penk years ago.
Current licensee of Railway is a shooter.

Baltipal said...

I don't know of any Ian, why not try Furness Mill past Kiddy? It's a permanant ground so it's got to be on.

Jon said...

Ok i know the caggy handed way you Brummies go to FC.

Is it gonna rain tomorrow?
Could slap some targets out at Millride for Cmon

Baltipal said...

......and wasn't there a place called the Sherwood Shooting Ground being talked about a while back over by you, that was a private, non affiliated permanant set up to.

Ian C,mon said...

thats a bloody good idea

Jon said...

The name rings a bell but would have thought that would be in Nottingham.

Wheres this Furnace Mill? Is it worth getting our guns out for.

Jon said...

Sod the workload, lets go shooting.
Furnace Mill or Millride?

Baltipal said...

Ahh, just checked their site & 'Due to lack of interest Airgunshooting is cancelled'
So forget that!

Still got Furness Mill though, that was a nice place.

Baltipal said...

The Sherwood was by Stour Port on Severn.

Ian C,mon said...

where the hell is furnace mill

Baltipal said...

Furness Mill;

http://www.furnacemill.net/index.html

Jon said...

Dont confuse him Balts- HHAHAHAHAHAAHA

Ian C,mon said...

ok furness

Baltipal said...

See how I look after you fellas, I can't shoot tomoz because of the bleedin' Fridge freezer but I can facilitate your fun, games & lead slingin'
I'm a bloody hero & should be given a medal!!!!!!

Willbe said...

bugger, miles away!! lol

Ian C,mon said...

well we all going 2morra or wat

Baltipal said...

Fridge freezer duty!

Baltipal said...

No, not really, M6, M5 off at Kiddy then up the Leominster Rd through Bewdley to Callow Hill. You don't have to get there for a specific time & you can shoot all day & go to the pub after for a pint & sarnie. I can't think of a better way to spend a bank holiday monday, you'll only end up painting something or watching crap on the telly!

Ian C,mon said...

well jon

Jon said...

Tempting Ian, is it worth getting gun out Greg?

Jon said...

Probably know the land owner there, mind you its been 20 odd years, i used to have a practice track at Kinlet.

Jon said...

Adder country as well, careful where you tread.

Baltipal said...

Well, yeah. For the reasons stated above. It's more of an HFT place so not exactly your cup of tea but miles better than Penkridge or Xguns in my opinion anyway. It was a very nice place right in the middle of the Wyre forest, what ya got to lose?

Will, 1hr 30 mins tops for you. 65 miles of easy driving.

Baltipal said...

It's a big Fisheries, bigger than Millride. The bloke who owns it is the head bloke for Deer stalking in the forest, IIRC.

Baltipal said...

Well anyway, whatever you three decide to do tomorrow have fun doing it & tell me all about it afterwards. Pity me driving around trying to find a fridge won't you.
Give Furness Mill a try & never go there again if it isn't to your taste, I didn't think it was a bad day out myself.

Jon said...

Fair do's but if i want to shoot 20 yards i'll shoot at home, something i never will do. 40 yards is a gimmee and only go out to 45.
Sorry waste of pellets.

Jon said...

Alternatively are we allowed to put some shootable targets out at Furnace Mill?

Ian C,mon said...

you mamby pambys have made it to 12 nealy

Jon said...

Woz up hes still awake.

Jon said...

Ian, might be a goodun for Millride, just had a butchers at forecast.
Its windy 26kmph, slap em in the field!

Ian C,mon said...

there will be a car boot on

Ian C,mon said...

check out girl with gun

Jon said...

Theres only the Greyhound then and dont fancy going there just yet.

Took mut to pet shop this afternoon, field day when he clocked the rabits, mice, degu, gerbils and flying things. Like a dog posessed, funny but had to show to staff he was under control.

Ian C,mon said...

getting better on this divice

Jon said...

Got some gooduns but dare not slap em on here.
Like the one i deleted earlier.

Jon said...

Device - hahaha

Staying in tomorrow only need about 30 more and i should catch up.

Ian C,mon said...

spelling still a good

Baltipal said...

So where did you end up then?

CB Chairman said...

Afternoon Greg I went to the Thinktank. Are you up for an early evening walk?

Baltipal said...

Sure, I need to walk off a mixed grill & icecream sundae.

CB Chairman said...

See you about half six?

CB Chairman said...

I'm off to Do it Myself.

Baltipal said...

Where was everyone! I was looking forward to catching up on today's preceedings.

CB Chairman said...

Sorry I was out for a walk.

Baltipal said...

How disappointing eh Shaun! No info on today's action. Mind you, Ian may have had a small excuse.

CB Chairman said...

Grandad and younger than us Gregory. Does that make us old?

CB Chairman said...

Hight!

Baltipal said...

155cm!

CB Chairman said...

Early evening gents.

Not much activity in the transfer market for the Blues or Golds.

Arby said...

Wolves have bought a 6' 7" striker from Rapid Vienna today, and they took an Ecuadorian international on a 12 month loan from Red Star Belgrade yesterday.

And, by the powers of negotiation and statesmanship, much sucking-up, and the completion of some decorating I'm now able to shoot at Newbury..

Baltipal said...

HURRAH!

Arby said...

Glad you're pleased about the Wolves signings Greg.

Baltipal said...

Wolves can't sign things, no opposable thumbs. That's why you NEVER see a Wolf with a cheque book.

Arby said...

Oh!!!! Silly me.

Talking of Newbury, I didn't go last year so I'm not sure about the format. What time does it start, 1 or 2 sessions, shotgun start?

Baltipal said...

Feed on, rather like a WL, IIRC. We'll have to discuss amongst ourselves times & so on during the week. Shaun will be done there anyway staying with a friend so I'll be travelling with Tom Tom & Emmy Lou Harris for company.

Baltipal said...

That should be 'Down' not 'Done', BTW.

Arby said...

Any news from "Gramps"?

Phil_G said...

evening chappies

Arby said...

I said "Gramps", not "Grumps" Evening Phil, how are they hanging?

Phil_G said...

Oh, hi J, they're fine, thanks for asking. Is Roy out tonight then?

Arby said...

Phil, did you ever make progress on the butt hook issue?

Arby said...

Yes, why don't you give me a call "big boy". I could use some help getting some more conifers out. You haven't got a chainsaw have you?

Phil_G said...

No, the guy who made Shaun's was supposedly making some for the Steyr but he's gone radio silent.
Tried to buy and Anschutz off Jim Vickers but the deal sort of fell through.
To be honest I would really like a System Gemini but can't really justify the money.

Phil_G said...

the no was to the butt hook question, but I haven't got a chainsaw either.

CB Chairman said...

I have the grades for the end of August. Anyone want theirs

Phil_G said...

yes please.

Arby said...

Me please.

Are the individual event percentages entered into the rolling grade calculation to any number of decimal places? If not, what are the rules for rounding up or down to arrive at both the event input and final percentage?

Phil_G said...

shaun, have you looked at that spanish site yet?
There is an interesting article about curing the power creep on a LG100. I've translated it using babelfish but its a bit pigeon english (the translator) so i can't get the absolute meaning of the article.
Is there any chance you could forward my attempt to Jesus and maybe ask him to correct the bits that do not make sense?

CB Chairman said...

Phil no problem.

Here are some grades:

Roy - 54.83%. As to your questions Roy I do not know but ... I think that your whole percentage is used in the calculation. The grading page only shows whole numbers to save space.

Phil - 57.14%

CB Chairman said...

Roy your 20th shoot is low and if you achieve 50% or more on Saturday then you will move into B grade.

Phil_G said...

email sent Shaun

Phil_G said...

my score is obviously a reflection in sport of G K Chesterton's essay The Triumph Of The Donkey.

Arby said...

Thanks for the info Shaun.

Tesla said...

Evening blogsters.

Phil it will be a pleasure to help you.
Could you give me the exact article you need to translate?

I sugeest you to use the Google translator. In my opinion its performance is better than the bablefish.

Phil_G said...

hello Jesus, the page is:
http://www.azcft.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=160&Itemid=44

you may know the author and the website.
The piece I am trying to understand is:
Desmontaje del tornillo regulador de la VRP

It sounds like the problem I am suffering with my gun.

thanks for your help

CB Chairman said...

Hola Jesus,

I have just forwarded Phil's e-mail to you.

Tesla said...

Ok, Phil. I've just keep an eye about the article.
That'a a description of how to solve a typical problem of the Steyr airguns. The power increases shot by shot.
The first part of the article show how to disasembly the airgun up to have the regulator on the hand.
Then explains how to make the regulation of the valve.

I guess you'll need to understand the last part of the explanation because the first part of disasembling is very graphic. Isnt'it?

Tesla said...

Shaun, e-mail received.

Phil, I'm already working on it

CB Chairman said...

Jesus only two weeks to the big event

my first Spanish lesson!

Phil_G said...

where's Greg when 500 is approaching?

Phil_G said...

yes Jesus, I understand the strip down part, its the adjustment of the regulator that I don't fully understand the translation, as it is not so clear.

Phil_G said...

500

CB Chairman said...

It could be the 49th or a fridge freezer relationship.

Arby said...

Shaun, I hope your first lesson covers how to find the nearest pintxos bar.

CB Chairman said...

That's built into my brain in any language!

Tesla said...

Hi Phil, traslation sent by e-mail
If you need some additional explanation don't hesitate to ask me.

Shaun, Yes only two weeks. Are there some pintxos bar near to Weston Park?
And the Spanish.....what about?

CB Chairman said...

Sorry Jesus no pinxtos but there will be burgers and chips.

Myself and Greg have enrolled for 10 weeks of Spanish lessons.

Tesla said...

That will be enough Shaun.

I don't know Epsilon in person . But if anyone need additional information about the Steyr valve regulation I'll can to conatct with him.

Arby said...

Jesus, have you read about the Midland Game Fair, which is hosting the competition. If you haven't I'll post a link?

Tesla said...

Thanks Roy.
I've just saw the video showing the different events on the Midland Fair, but the information you told about, I think no. So please send me the link.
Are you involved in the Spanish classes too?

Arby said...

http://www.countrymanfairs.co.uk/midland/

I haven't signed up for anything yet, but the others are putting me to shame, so I suppose I'll have to make some attempt. The problem is that I'm a bit intellectually challenged.

Ian C,mon said...

evening lads. did you say you know latest gradings shaun, do you know mine.

Arby said...

By the way, Jesus, I think the arrangements are that I'll be collecting you from Stansted Airport.

Arby said...

Ian, well, any news?

Ian C,mon said...

yep

Arby said...

You little tease.

Ian C,mon said...

something more important does any one know my grade

CB Chairman said...

Evening Grandad your percentage is 79.66%

On Saturday you need 68% to be promoted to AA.

Ian C,mon said...

you meen i am still an A grader C ,mon

CB Chairman said...

Yes, but the Masters is an open event.

Ian C,mon said...

so what do you mean

Tesla said...

Ok, Roy. Perfect.I'll see you in Stansted. At the end I'll be there alone ( without Mª Carmen)

It's the same link I saw before. Perhaps the written article has been updated...I don't remember now.

CB Chairman said...

The next graded shoot will be the Winter League and then you'll be a AA grader.

Phil Tetsall will send the new grades as soon as he gets the results from the Euros.

Ian C,mon said...

o sorry ! her name`s demi leigh born 7.9 pound half past 1 monday pm

Tesla said...

Right. Time to bed .

Hasta mañana amigos

Arby said...

Congratulations. Have you raised a glass or two?

CB Chairman said...

Congratulations Ian!!!

Ian C,mon said...

i am all ways raising a glass or three

CB Chairman said...

Goodnight all!

Ian I hope you're doing your share of the nappies!

Ian C,mon said...

cheeers lads ! still got that stuutteeerrrr

Arby said...

I'm off as well now.

Ian, you've had a successful couple of weeks. Have you told her that you're A grade Champ yet?

Ian C,mon said...

no! i have been over field with s400 tonite i `m planning to use it on sillis from now on, did some ajustments its shooting mega

Ian C,mon said...

do not worry about me! you just leave me on my own again

Ian C,mon said...

i`m still here! you can`t take the pace

CB Chairman said...

Evening all!

Ian you've got some stamina for a grandad!!!!

Phil_G said...

Shaun, did you receive a mail from me today?
I sent it using webmail and I'm not sure if it turned up.

CB Chairman said...

Yes I did Phil. Strange though as I sent it from my MFTA address and received it on my normal address.

I got the impression that you were not at work today

Phil_G said...

in mind or body?

CB Chairman said...

either that or you work for Steyr Supplies?

Arby said...

I also sent you an email tonight Shaun in response to the one I received yesterday.

Phil_G said...

apparently, we have a club meeting next saturday? does anyone know what that is about?

Arby said...

I think it's to discuss arrangements for Ian's open-top bus tour and civic reception.

CB Chairman said...

We are having a meeting once a month to allows views to be shared. So said Mr Stoddart.

CB Chairman said...

Gone for a haircut, blog later.

CB Chairman said...

I'm back before anyone noticed

CB Chairman said...

Sorry to say that Greg's PC has gone tits up again.

Arby said...

Number 1 son fixed this particular problem for him last time, but he's out at the moment.

Arby said...

Do we have to say "Your hair looks nice, Shaun"?

CB Chairman said...

I don't think Greg is very happy

CB Chairman said...

You can Roy but as usual there's not much of it. Back to school tomorrow I can't look fluffy.

Arby said...

J was lamenting the other day about how she misses the "back to school" shopping with the kids, particularly the new stationery bit. She said she'd like to borrow some. (kids, that is)

CB Chairman said...

I could give her 22 fifteen year olds

Jon said...

eVENINGS.

Shaun i am getting other peoples emails in ref to the MFTA, 6 so far 17 to more to come.

Arby said...

I think she was looking for something a bit more junior.

CB Chairman said...

Evening Jon, it's because I sent out a group mailing and people are responding to it rather than to me. Hence everyone is getting their replies!!!!!

Jon said...

Deleted them any way, interesting how many are with BT.

Jon said...

Woz up with Gregs puter again?

CB Chairman said...

It wants a password and he doesn't know it.

CB Chairman said...

Right, bed calls.

Jon said...

Always use as administrator and dont use one at all = no bother.

Arby said...

It's a bit more complex than that Jon. Greg doesn't use a password. My Son, who is an IT engineer fixed the problem a couple of months ago, but it appears to have come back again in a completely random fashion. He isn't at home at the moment so we're unable to help Greg tonight.

CB Chairman said...

Evening bloggers, anybody chatting?

Arby said...

Evening Shaun, how was first day back, without pupils I presume.

CB Chairman said...

Evening Roy, no pupils until Monday.

Arby said...

Spoke to Greg earlier, he's still having computer problems. We'd already gone to bed when Ash came home last night. Apart from us all having to rush over to Father in Law's very early this morning to deal with an emergency, I haven't seen him since, so I've been unable to ask him about Greg.

Phil_G said...

Was anyone else aware there is a round of the midlands HFT at Millride on the 6th December?
If I'd known, I would have put it on the website....

CB Chairman said...

Evening Phil. I knew because I'm the liaison with the HFT organisers.
At this time there is limited interest in HFT at Millride but it was agreed at the meeting that we would support the HFT WL with our ground and our targets. I will liaise with the organisers to help set the course. I would have liked to inform Ian and Dave in person but if the dates are released so be it!

Phil_G said...

dates and venues on the hft site
http://www.midlands-hft-league.btik.com/calendar/all.ikml

Phil_G said...

will you be rolling in the mud then?

CB Chairman said...

Oh yes. I'm rather looking forward to it. Unfortunately the first rond clashes with Far Coley.

CB Chairman said...

No blogging for me tomorrow so good luck to all at the Masters and Showdown.

Phil_G said...

Congratulations to Karl for winning the Masters, well done fella.

Arby said...

Excellent performance from Karl today Phil.

Arby said...

Ian got another trophy by the way. It was actually a pint glass on a plinth - how appropriate.

Ian C,mon said...

what do you all take me for? A drunk, says he! as he downs another bottle of cider

Arby said...

And how many more since you posted that last comment.
Enjoy it Ian, what a few weeks you've had.

Good day today, and enjoyed the pint (or two) after.

All the best for tomorrow and make sure you get on here as early as you can to let us know how things have gone. You don't have to come on until after the final though.

CB Chairman said...

Hi bloggers. Just back from the Showdown, I lost in the 2nd round to Jim Lindley 17-18. When I left only Mark was still in the Showdown but Daz and Ian were shooting in the plate. Perhaps the next thing we Millriders need to practise is our 1 minute technique.
Anyway I had a great weekend, thanks to you guys for your company and it was good to see Paul back on the circuit.

Phil_G said...

Does anyone have reason to go to SFS this week?
If so, could they pick me up a tin of the Falcon 7.3g jobbies and I'll reimburse them for their troubles

Arby said...

Any more info on today's proceedings?

Phil_G said...

not heard anything yet Roy.

LeeEv2 said...

Hi all, not sure who won yet? i got through to the 3rd round where i lost to Nick Murphy 18/19 i was leading but shot the wrong target! durrr lol... would have been nice to beat the british champ! oh well next year! and arby was a pleasure shooting with you pal!

Arby said...

Well done to get as far as you did Lee.

Thanks for your company yesterday.

pilsbury said...

Hi all, It was a good day at Newbury yesterday and the apres shoot was excellent as well.
Well done Karl it was well deserved after the shoot off.
I think the club has done well to get as many shooters into the showdown as it has so congratulations to all who made it.

Jon said...

Ozzy won it, only missed including shoot off shots 4 targets out of 126.
Ian Taylor runner up.

Jon said...

No need to practice within 1 min, just dont faff about.

Arby said...

That was some shooting from Mr O, what news of Millriders?

Jon said...

Mark progressed the furthest dont know full story but was all but in the bag up to final lane.
Decent score there Mr C on yellow, i had a bye 1st round but missed one no15.
Luck of the drawer 2nd round as most of us would have progressed if partnered with 50% of other shooters. Kicked off with an 18 whilst Nick Murphy went through after a shoot off with John on 14 each. Oooh Mark had a bye 2nd round, Hols did his usual thing.

Jon said...

Fairly sure Mark was in the last 8 after a temperamental start, he shot very well after.

Phil_G said...

how far did you get then Jon?
what about the others, Ian S?

Ayupmeduck said...

Wow what a weekend thanks for praise and support this weekend .. Won it for Millride FTC and the Midlands also top shooting Ian and Mark..Roll on the castle 80..

Ayupmeduck said...

BTFA grading list has been updated (BFTA Site )including the last Gp , It will be updated again so I was told after the European Champs so 2 more scores to count if you shot the masters and are shooting the Euro`s..

Phil_G said...

evening chaps, anyone know where I can get a close focus adaptor? The only place I can find them are Optics Warehouse but their delivery is a bit suspect. I've e-mailed them to see if they've got one in stock but no answer so far.

Phil_G said...

still no Gregor?

CB Chairman said...

Hi Phil, the last I recall about close adaptors was you quoting us prices.

Still no Greg, he's contemplating a laptop.

Phil_G said...

cant seem to find any suppliers at the mo.
Battery low and the lovely Suzi Perry beckons, so I'll be back anon.

Phil_G said...

Looking good for the Castle 80, any plans yet?
Tell me about it. 40 shots am, same pm?
You said something about reducers. shoot with buddy or paired up?
many shoot it? more that Warks open?
Salmon spread or egg and cress?

Phil_G said...

how was the hols Jonta? stopped shaking from withdrawal yet?

Jon said...

Well done Karl, first biggy?

Phil you will have to import from Leupold or shop in US and get a Butler Creek.

After a chrono was tempted with Optics Warehouse for a cheapy.
Looks like Midway then and slow service.

Jon said...

Got knocked out 2nd round on Red course by Rob Farnworth, last target mis ranged. 18/19 Pulled equal on the long stander hoping for a shoot off jobby, got him quaking.

Jon said...

As above, its luck of the drawer if Mr C or me was partnered with 40% of others we would have been through, shoot off on 14 a piece.

Jon said...

Its mine 600.

Arby said...

Evening faithful ones. Spent a few hours being eaten by midges at Millride this afternoon.

CB Chairman said...

Evening all!

Phil - Castle 80, 40 shot course in the am followed by a different course in the afternoon. Bacon butty van available.
